this is a collection of various fragments of ideas I've had. at least, the ones that were workable enough to even bother trying out, and interesting enough to bother sharing. a couple of these have been posted on the pfhorums in various threads at one time or another. none of these are full maps, and some aren't even finished. take them for what they are.

I'm a terrible writer so I don't make scenarios, and I don't make netmaps, so I'll basically never use these in a project of my own. if you want to use these in your map or project, go right ahead. it would be nice if you mentioned me at the bottom of the readme or something, but other than that I don't really care.

note: with the exception of "the old factory" none of these are merged- they require you to copy the "XXXX_plugin" folder into your plugins directory in order for stuff to work.

note2: a bunch of these exploit various over-rendering quirks of the shader renderer. they will flat out NOT work using the software or classic renderers. if you don't have a card that can do shader, sorry. also: any of the shader trick maps make heavy used of stacked polys. if you don't know how this works, deconstructing the trick will be painful.

note3: almost all of my tricks require 'transparent liquids' to be enabled in your prefs.

note4: beware I use a high number of transparent sides and points-in-a-straight-line on some of these maps. the machine I test on is a 4 year old laptop with a core2 duo, which I consider to be middle of the road by today's standards. if you're using an older/slower machine some of these maps may very well slow to a crawl or outright crash. you have been warned.
